Designer Chamnan Pakdeesuk

The global fashion label FLYNOW represents Thai fashion at its finest. For more than two decades, FLYNOW has been celebrated for its avant-garde design, sophisticated femininity and refined tailoring. Every single piece is created by the expertise and painstaking technique of Thai dressmakers.

Established in 1983 by founder Somchai Songwattana, who was only 20 years old at the time, the brand has evolved to become one of Thailands most established fashion houses and internationally recognized labels. The success of the label is also driven by principle designer Chamnan Pakdeesuk who has been with the house since high school. FLYNOW was invited to present its collection at London Fashion Week in 1996, and was acclaimed by the international press as one of the top five designers of the season. The participation brought the house to the peak of international fashion. Today, FLYNOW collections are now available at major destinations including London, New York, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Chamnan Pakdeesuk is stunned the Siam Paragon International Couture Fashion Week 2012 audiences with Simplicity collection that reinvokes the simple yet elegant look in form and design. To add a touch of rustic charm, traditionally woven textiles were chosen for this collection with clothes made from thick cotton reminiscent of the material used by the Chinese in which to swaddle their newborn. Hand-embroidered Hmong hill tribe fabric was also matched with silk, organza silk, chiffon and leather. Techniques, such as quilting were used to full effect. The collection, in classic hues like black, dark blue, dark brown and beige emphasised perfect fit that ensures a quintessential couture style.
