Fall/Winter 2011-2012 Makeup:
Natural never looked so good!

Youve seen whats going to be hot this fall and winter on the runways and now you are going to find out how you can achieve these hot, trendy looks, naturally! Yes, you can enjoy the makeup trends of the season while being kind to your skin, animals, and the environment! To prove this point, we will be using Pure Anada Natural Cosmetics to create these looks, a fantastic Canadian mineral makeup line that is natural, vegan, animal and environmentally friendly. So, lets get this party started!

Voluptuous brows are in this season, so put away your tweezers, pray to the eyebrow gods....think Kim Kardashian, Megan Fox, or Denise Richards, and maybe, just maybe, you will rock one of this seasons hottest makeup trends! If this fails to work, Ive got your back up plan! Pure Anada brow powder! This is my all time favorite mineral brow powder collection. It comes in 4 shades, light to dark, its long wearing, all natural, and costs only $8 each, what a bargain! Simply use the vegan, bamboo handled angle liner brush to add even, swift natural looking stokes to your brows, avoid making them too solid looking by using too much powder.

Moving on to peepers! What looks great paired with a nice full brow? A bold eye, thats what! The smoky eye returns this season with avengence. Think Mary Kate Olsen or Keira Knightley, examples of the smoky eye done right! Start by priming your eyes, I like to use Pure Anadas Sheer Radiant tined Moisturizer, it makes minerals stick like glue! Then, using a fluffy brush, I sweep Pearl Luminous Shadow all over the lid and brow bone. I follow this with a healthy punch of White Diamond Luminous Shadow in the tear duct areas, this makes the look really pop! I then move on to the darker colours, first I lay down Black Velvet Matte shadow all over the lid, I blend this colour into the crease and towards the inner corner of the eye, blend WELL, this is the key to pulling off that sultry smoky effect. Carry a bit of this colour along your lower lash line as well.

Once the black is smoked out, I like to add either Midnight (a deep dark blue), or Violet (a deep bright purple) depending on the look I am going for. I blend from the outer corner of the eye inwards toward the middle of the eye lid. Once fully blended, I then go back in and add a little extra White Diamond Luminous shadow in the corners of the eyes for some added oomph! Voila, cest fini!
