FASHION DIARY - LISBON

LISBON, PORTUGAL - Taking part in Lisbon Fashion Week AW 2013 was an amazing experience. Thanks to the organizers, I was part of the International Press Group which was treated like real VIPs throughout the whole event. We were not only driven to all the shows, dinners, and parties, but also had an opportunity to stay at Fontecreuz Lisboa which is a trendy "fashion hotel" featuring unique art and design.

Portuguese fashion is not very well known internationally, so it was a real pleasure to get more familiar with the talented local designers and watch the catwalk shows sitting in the first row ;)

Highlights of the first day included an opening show by Valentim Quaresma and an African inspired collection by Ricardo Dourado. Both shows took place at the beautiful Paos do Concelho located in the heart of the city. To see the most interesting looks from Ricardo's collection, click here.

Over the next couple of weeks, I will be writing more about Lisbon Fashion Week and featuring selected Portuguese designers. In the meantime, have a look at the official website of an amazing Thai brand FlynowIII. The blue dress that I was wearing at the event comes from their Spring/Summer 2013 collection and it was shown at the re-opening of Siam Center in Bangkok last month.
