Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter
coincides with World Boutique, Hong Kong in January 2013

Two of Asia�s most important fashion industry events showcase the latest trends and offer an unrivalled trading platform


HONG KONG - Asia�s largest fashion event, HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter, will run concurrently with the glamorous HKTDC World Boutique, Hong Kong on 14-17 January 2013 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Together they present to the world the latest trends in the fashion industry, as well as offering a platform of business opportunities.

With a history of more than 40 years, Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter will again showing the newest collections, the hottest products and the latest designs to address to various needs of the fashion industry. The 44th edition will feature the debut Men in Style and Fashion Jewellery Feast zones to accommodate exhibitors� and buyers� marketing and sourcing pattern.

The fair features pavilions from the Chinese mainland, India, Macau and Taiwan. Pakistan Pavilion will be joining for the first time to make use of the fair to promote their designs and build their brands. To give exhibitors more promotion opportunities, the fair features a series of mini parades to showcase selected exhibits on the catwalk.

Taking place concurrently is the leading fair for fashion brands, HKTDC World Boutique, Hong Kong, showcasing the latest branded fashion items and designer collections. The 11th edition of World Boutique, Hong Kong will sparkle with the participation of big names including Che Che New York, IKA BUTONI, MARCAAIN, and Pashma, etc. Renowned Peruvian Designer, Sumy Kujon will be showcasing her latest collection blended with baby alpaca and silk which symbolises her Chinese and Peruvian design heritages. Numerous industry associations, including the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association (Hong Kong), The Indonesian Fashion Designers Association (Indonesia), The �Italia I Love You� pavilion by the Italian Carpi Trade Association (Italy), The Kokusai Fashion Centre (Japan) and Taiwan Textile Federation (Taiwan) will be demonstrating their confidence in the fair by forming pavilions.

The highlighted Hong Kong Fashion Extravaganza on 14 January features collections of world-renowned fashion designers including Johanna Ho from Hong Kong, Nana Aganovich & Brooke Taylor from Paris and Chi Zhang from Beijing.

The stylish excitement of the fair will also be spread to the Hong Kong public, in shopping malls, coffee shops, boutiques, beauty stores and lifestyle restaurants throughout the city in January 2013.

The natural synergy between the two fashion and garment events is expected to provide industry players the benefits of meeting quality international buyers, establishing brand image, and collecting the latest market intelligence.
